1. Tiebreakers. Currently we used H2H to break a tie. This takes the luck of what happened one week. It makes more sense to me use PF as the tiebreaker.  I disagree that a tie is broken based on what happened in one game during the season.  Also that the draft order can be changed just because I beat one team during the season.

2. Add/drops after Thursday games as long as player didn't play Thursday night.

3. Payouts, currently $295, $147.50, $88.50, $75 to division winners, $59 to high points through 16 weeks.

Thoughts on adding a 4th place prize, weekly high scorer and removing division winners?

Sample:
$830 prize pool
1st: $360
2nd: $180
3rd: $90
4th: $45
Total Points 16 weeks: $75

$5 - high weekly scorer ($80)

I think the first place winner should get more money then he does now, like you are proposing now

I'll pretty much roll with the majority vote, I have no preference either way to be honest

This works for me but I agree with Soggy I'll go with whatever the majority wants to do.

I like this payout alot.

Also, I am prob not going to get far with this. But I hate the way we do waivers with the dollars or free agent bucks or whatever.

suggest an alternate method - I'd listen
Pelham Punishers Date Thu Dec 18 2:06:33 p.m. ET 2008
I agree with the proposal on the change in money payouts and waiver extensions. I am in another league that does waivers by a rotating list, whereas the 1st pick is #1 on the wire and the 2 pick is #2 on the wire and so on. Then when they pick up a guy, they move to the bottom and everybody else moves up. However, from playing both now, I actuall prefer our method over that one. Hope everyone is doing well and having a good holiday season!

I like the $$$ for the first waiver wire release on Wednesday. But I think after that release we should be first come first serve until the weeks first game.

I agree with Windy on the waiver wire, $$$ then first come first serve
Commissioner Date Fri Dec 19 9:43:54 p.m. ET 2008
Um...it is blind bid on Wednesday and then FCFS until kickoff of the first game currently....
Windy City Flyers Date Sat Dec 20 1:37:43 a.m. ET 2008
Not really. If you spend your bucks on the waivers during the season. As I had being that I am a rookie, you have to have $1 to spend on FCFS. It really hurt me in the midseason!
Soggy Bottom Boys Date Sat Dec 20 9:41:49 p.m. ET 2008
for 3 weeks I've been unable to pick up anybody - hell I can't even FIND where the dollar ammount's I've spent is, never have been
Pelham Punishers Date Mon Dec 22 12:02:38 a.m. ET 2008
I think each team's spending is located on the standings page.
Silverwolves Date Mon Dec 22 7:13:15 a.m. ET 2008
Remaining BBid Dollars are on standings page, BBid dollars spent are on each franchise page(Reports->Franchise->Franchise Information).  It's near the bottom there.

we need to contact mfl about being able to pick up players that have not played between thursday games and sundays
Commissioner Date Tue Dec 23 1:51:08 a.m. ET 2008
This can be done, just needs to be voted on to be allowed.
Soggy Bottom Boys Date Tue Dec 23 11:10:08 a.m. ET 2008
I like the players being frozen from the first game's kickoff and here's why ... if a stud gets hurt, or a QB in a THU game, FCFS benefits the guy being at the computer or watching that game you know ?
Red Hot Tamales Date Tue Dec 23 1:08:34 p.m. ET 2008
I would expect that all players on said stud QBs team would be locked one the team's game commences that week.

Example: Tom Brady gets injured in a Thursday night game, Matt Cassell should already be locked and unavailable to FCFS.
Pelham Punishers Date Tue Dec 23 2:29:20 p.m. ET 2008
I agree if that team plays all players are frozen from that team once the game starts but if the teams dont play then I think the players should be available FCFS.

CONGRATS SOGGY!!!
Carolina Fear Date Wed Dec 24 12:21:59 a.m. ET 2008
anymore alot of guys that are dinged do not practice till friday which can determine their status that week. I agree most studs and backups are not often affected but It can be a problem in some instances still. I had an issue at kicker for example. Plus when the buy weeks are a factor sometimes a team may not have a sub. Just my thoughts here
